Our fabulous volunteers provide a high energy, fun and meaningful experience that kids don't want to miss. Our hope is to provide transformational teaching to reach children…the kind of teaching that leaves kids living differently on Monday as a result of being with us on Sunday. The Big Adventure includes Adventure Woods for our preschoolers and The Zone for our Elementary aged children. *Adventure Woods* The Hope Nursery 
The nursery is intended for babies who are six weeks old to crawlers. It is a place where trained adults and parents love, nurture and pray for children and their families. The "Walkers" class is intended for children that are competent walkers through 2 years. In this class we love, care for and play with the children. Only goldfish and water are given as a snack in this room. Preschoolers Children age 2-5 will experience God's love through music, movement, storytelling and puppet theater. It is our hope that children will be introduced to God's love and truth in an engaging and irresistible way. Kindergarten and 1st Grade The children participate in a large group and small group time just for them. This includes worship and storytelling in a fun and energetic atmosphere. A variety of creative teaching techniques are used during this time to engage children and teach biblical truth. Application to a child’s life is central to this teaching time. *The Zone* Children from kindergarten to 5th grade are invited to be in The Zone. We have a large group/small group fomat for our children, which includes stories, music, games and discussion so children can experience the love of Jesus Christ and have an opportunity to grow in his/her relationship with Him. It is our hope that through creative and child-centered teaching each child will come to know Jesus and be transformed as they live out their faith. Application to a child’s life is central to this teaching time. Each child will have the opportunity to be a part of a small group lead by a Small Group Leader. This small group time is the basis for developing a mentoring relationship between leader and child as well as a time to develop peer relationships/ Lesson discussion and application will occur during this time as well We use a curriculum called 252 Basics. Based on Luke 2:52, the curriculum is built around 3 basic truths: 1. Wisdom: I need to make the wise choice. 2. Faith: I can trust God no matter what. 3. Friendship: I should treat others the way I want to be treated. The 3 basic truths are amplified through 36 monthly virtues (such as kindness, honesty, honor, etc) and 150 Bible stories. Every week there is a key truth or bottom line that we drive home.
