About Hope

Hope is a church committed to helping people grow toward God as followers of Jesus Christ. You may be trying to find God for the first time, or may have known Him for a long time. Either way, we’re looking to know God more deeply and experience Him in our lives. Honest questions are more than welcome as we learn about the one who is the way, the truth and the life.

Hope started in 1997, and since then we have sought to be a fresh expression of the church that is relevant and authentic. We believe the Bible and we’re grateful for it’s stability and guidance in the midst of a world of change. At the same time we kind of like things on the creative side as we do ministry.

For our first two years we worshiped at Ruby Carver Elementary School, then we moved to Godwin High School. We bought our property in 2001 and moved into our building in September of 2008. We think of it as a home where we can be a family together, but just as importantly as a headquarters from which Christian ministry goes out into the world.
